Artwork

Methods of Art Reproduction

Our favorite arts are produced in three forms - canvas art prints, canvas art print and canvas paintings. Canvas prints are reprints or reproduction of original artworks printed on canvas.

They are printed into canvas prints by the process of offset printing, a process of dye sublimation or inkjet print process. It is also called Repligraph and Giclée.  Artwork prints involve the creation of a matrix which can be made using engraving plates, etched onto metal plates, carved into the wooden blocks such as in woodcut matrix, stone as in lithographs, onto linoleum and fabric.

Canvas pictures are, as the name suggests – pictures printed onto canvas. It could be a simple process of capturing your favorite scene, your family, or subject in the camera; loading it into a computer, editing the image to your satisfaction, contrast and brightness and printing it onto the canvas. These are the widest varieties of canvases produced.
